Caltrain schedules two bike cars on the 34 weekday trains listed below. The bike cars are the northernmost car and the fourth car from the north.
Caltrain crews will strive to maintain this customer enhancement; however, the second bike car is not guaranteed because of equipment maintenance and other operational needs.
Trains using Caltrain’s stainless steel gallery cars can accommodate 40 bikes, while the gray Bombardier cars can carry 24 bikes.
