Take Transit to the San Mateo Wine Walk
The Downtown San Mateo Association is proud to announce that the Wine Walk is back! The well-loved event took a hiatus last year, but will be back Saturday, Sept. 29 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Wine Walk features more than 50 varietals from around the globe, menu tasting provided by local restaurants and live music. Wines will be served at outdoor wine gardens throughout the downtown area. Local restaurants will provide live bites for participants to sample at they wander the wine gardens and explore the neighborhood.
Festival-goers can enjoy wine tasting knowing that they have a safe way home by taking transit to the event. SamTrans’ new Route ECR operates along El Camino Real, serving stops every 20 minutes. Caltrain is also located just a short walk away from the festivities as well.
