Take Caltrain to the KNBR/Giants Fan Fest at AT&T Park
San Francisco Giants fans can “slide” into AT&T Park Saturday, Feb. 9, by taking Caltrain to the KNBR/Giants 20th Annual Fan Fest from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fans who purchase tickets to the event on Saturday will find a “quick buy” button on ticket vending machines at Caltrain stations. The button is shortcut for buying a ticket to San Francisco, an advantage for new customers who may not be familiar with the ticket machines.
Caltrain offers hourly service plus four express trains from the Peninsula to San Francisco on weekends. From the Caltrain terminal at Fourth and King streets, it’s a one-block walk to the ball park. Not only will fans get a chance to meet Giants players and coaches at the Fan Fest, seasoned baseball train riders may get a chance to rediscover Caltrain service to The City.
KNBR will broadcast live from home plate that day and fans will get to visit autograph booths, mascot Lou Seal and participate in interactive baseball games.
Caltrain will kick-off another great season of baseball transportation when pre-season games start at AT&T Park in the spring. Last year, more than 500,000 fans took Caltrain to a Giants game, an increase of 12 percent over the previous year.
