Take Caltrain to Kraft 'Fight Hunger' Bowl on Dec. 29
College football fans can leave the driving to Caltrain as they head to the 3rd annual Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl at AT&T Park in San Francisco Saturday, Dec. 29 at 1 p.m. From the Caltrain terminal at Fourth and King streets, it’s a one-block walk to the park.
The Navy will meet Arizona State in the game, which will be televised nationwide on ESPN.
In partnership with Macy's, the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl will donate one meal for every ticket purchased to the San Francisco Food Bank, the St. Anthony Foundation and the Glide Foundation. Last year, the Bowl donated more than a 100,000 meals to the hungry people in the Bay Area.
With hourly service on weekends, and an express train arriving in San Francisco at 11:39 a.m., there are plenty of options to get fans to the game safely and on-time. Post-game, a special train will leave approximately 25 minutes after the game or when full.
Caltrain is a Proof-of-Payment system. Passengers must buy tickets BEFORE boarding from ticket vending machines or tag their Clipper card at the boarding and destination stations.
Caltrain does not allow alcohol on trains after 9 p.m. following a special event. Disruptive passengers will be asked to detrain.
