Take Caltrain to the Supercross Jan. 31

Speed your way through parking and traffic hassles by taking Caltrain to the 2009 Monster Energy AMA Supercross event Jan. 31 at AT&T Park.

Caltrain offers hourly service from the Peninsula to San Francisco on Saturdays. From the Caltrain terminal at Fourth and King streets, it is just a one-block walk to the stadium. Doors open for the qualifying rounds at 12:30 p.m., with the main event beginning at 7 p.m.

To accommodate the Supercross crowds, Caltrain will operate an additional southbound train after the event, departing 20 minutes after the conclusion of Supercross, or when full, and making all weekend stops. The final Saturday southbound train leaves the San Francisco station at 12:01 a.m. Alcohol consumption is not permitted on trains beginning at 9 p.m.

Caltrain encourages Supercross customers to purchase a Day Pass on the way to the event in order to avoid delays in boarding their train after the event. For additional information about the event, visit www.supercrossonline.com. For more information about Caltrain schedule and fares, call 1.800.660.4287 (TTY 650.508.6448).
