Take Caltrain to the Paul McCartney Concert at AT&T Park
“All You Need is Love” and Caltrain to see Paul McCartney for his Up and Coming Tour at AT&T Park Saturday, July 10. From the Caltrain terminal at Fourth and King streets, it’s a one-block walk to the park. This will be McCartney's first performance in San Francisco since The Beatles' last concert tour appearance at Candlestick Park on Aug. 29, 1966.
In addition to its regular Saturday service, Caltrain will add capacity to some northbound trains departing San Jose to accommodate extra crowds headed to the event.
Following the concert, Caltrain will operate two special service trains in addition to its regular service. The first special train will depart San Francisco 15 minutes after the concert and express to San Carlos before making all remaining local weekend stops to the San Jose Diridon station. The second special service train will depart San Francisco 25 minutes after the concert and make all local weekend stops to San Jose Diridon. The last regular southbound train will depart San Francisco at 12:01 a.m.
Caltrain recommends purchasing a Day Pass to avoid delays in boarding after the concert. Open alcoholic beverage containers are not allowed onboard trains starting at 9 p.m. on concert day.
