Take Caltrain to See Rigoletto at AT&T Park

Now opera lovers can learn what 400,000 baseball fans already know: take Caltrain to AT&T Park if you want to arrive relaxed and at a bargain price.

San Francisco Opera and the San Francisco Giants invited you to Webcor Builders Presents Opera at the Ballpark, Saturday, Sept. 15 at 8:00 p.m. for a free performance of Verdi's Rigoletto simulcast live from the War Memorial Opera House.The simulcast will be transmitted live from the opera house onto the big screen at the ball park.

Traditional baseball game concessions will be available, providing audiences the rare opportunity to eat hot dogs, peanuts and garlic fries while watching the opera.

The simulcast will last 2 hours and 35 minutes, including intermission.  Those who wish to attend must register for tickets at www.sfopera.com.

Caltrain will provide one extra post-event train, which depart at 25 minutes after the event is over or when full and make all local stops. The last regularly scheduled train departs San Francisco at midnight.
