Take Caltrain to See Aida at AT&T Park

Now opera lovers can learn what 400,000 baseball fans already know: take Caltrain to AT&T Park if you want to arrive relaxed and at a bargain price.

The San Francisco Opera and the San Francisco Giants are teaming up to provide a free simulcast of Verdi’s Aida Friday, Sept. 24, at 8 p.m., which will be transmitted live from the opera house onto the big screen at the ball park. The simulcast will last approximately three hours, including intermission. The last train departs San Francisco at midnight. Those who wish to attend must register for tickets at www.sfopera.com.
