Take Caltrain to Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl Dec. 31

College football fans can leave the driving to Caltrain as they head to the 2nd Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl at AT&T Park in San Francisco Saturday, Dec. 31 at 12:30 p.m. From the Caltrain terminal at Fourth and King streets, it’s a one-block walk to the park.

The UCLA Bruins, champions of the Pac-12 South division, will meet the Illinois Fighting Illini. ESPN will televise the game to a nationwide audience.

In partnership with Macy's, the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl will donate 1 meal for every ticket purchased to the San Francisco Food Bank, the St. Anthony Foundation and the Glide Foundation. Last year the Bowl donated over 120,000 meals to the hungry people in the Bay Area.

With hourly service on weekends, and an express train arriving in San Francisco at 11:39 a.m., there are plenty of options to get fans to the game safely and on-time. Post-game, an express train to San Carlos will leave approximately 15 minutes after the game and will make all local stops after San Carlos to San Jose.

Caltrain is a Proof-of-Payment system. Passengers must buy tickets BEFORE boarding from ticket vending machines.

Caltrain does not allow alcohol on trains after 9 p.m. following a special event. Disruptive passengers will be asked to detrain.
