Take Caltrain to Kenny Chesney's Sun City Carnival July 18

Caltrain is all Kenny Chesney fans need to know about getting to the Sun City Carnival Tour on Saturday, July 18 at AT&T Park. Chesney will pull out all the stops, playing with special guest Sugarland and zipping over the audience in a flying chair. The Beach Ball Free-for-All Tailgate Party, sponsored by The Wolf (95.7), will kick off the festivities at 10 a.m.

Caltrain will add capacity to some northbound trains departing San Jose to accommodate extra crowds headed to the event.

Following the concert, Caltrain will operate three special trains in addition to its regular service. Two special trains will depart San Francisco 15 and 25 minutes after the concert, or when full, and express to San Carlos before making all remaining local weekend stops to the San Jose Diridon station. The third special service train will depart San Francisco 35 minutes after the concert or when full and make all local weekend stops to San Jose Diridon. The last regular southbound train will depart San Francisco at 12:01 a.m.

Caltrain recommends purchasing a Day Pass to avoid delays in boarding after the concert. Open alcoholic beverage containers are not allowed onboard trains starting at 9 p.m. on concert day.
