Score a Goal by Taking Caltrain to World Football Challenge July 19

Soccer fans can avoid traffic and parking hassles by taking Caltrain to the first-ever World Football Challenge at Stanford Stadium on Sunday, July 19. Caltrain will provide service to the stadium station for this historic match between Mexico’s Club America and Italian league champion Inter Milan. Located above Embarcadero Road at Alma Street, the station is just a short walk from the stadium.

Before the game, northbound trains 433, 435 and 437and southbound trains 430, 432 and 434 will serve the stadium train station. After the game, northbound trains 443 and 445 and southbound trains 440 and 442 will stop at the stadium station. Fans are urged to check the train schedule and plan their trip accordingly.

All Sunday trains serve the Palo Alto station, which is located one-half mile north of the stadium station, for fans that miss the trains serving the stadium station.

Since there are no ticket vending machines at the Stanford station, riders are advised to purchase a Caltrain Day Pass at their departure station before boarding the train to go to the game. Caltrain is a Proof-of-Payment system and all passengers must have a valid ticket.
