Catch Caltrain to Cal Football Games at AT&T Park

The Cal Bears have made Caltrain part of its game plan this season while Memorial Stadium undergoes retrofit and renovations. Saturday, Sept. 17 the Bears kick-off the season against Presbyterian College at 2:30 p.m. at AT&T Park, which is located a few blocks from the San Francisco station at Fourth and King streets.

The excitement continues until Nov. 12 when the Cal Bears go up against Oregon. Football fans also won’t want to miss the Big Game against Stanford Nov. 19, which will be played at Stanford – a short walk from Caltrain.

Weekend trains operate every hour, in addition to four Baby Bullet express trains. After each game, one special train will depart San Francisco for the return trip. An express train to San Carlos leaves approximately 15 minutes at the end of the fourth quarter, or when full, and then makes all local stops after San Carlos to the San Jose Diridon station.

Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system; tickets are not sold onboard trains but can be purchased at vending machines at the stations. To save time on the return trip, fans are encouraged to buy a Day Pass. Clipper card users (e-cash and 8-ride tickets) are reminded to tag on and tag off.
