Caltrain to Serve Sharks Playoff Game
Caltrain to Serve Sharks Playoff Game
Caltrain is making plans to serve the next San Jose Sharks playoff game, Thursday April 22. The rail agency serves all regular home games and usually holds its last northbound train of the night up to 15 minutes in case the game runs long. However, under playoff rules, the games can run much longer. To accommodate the potential for overtime, Caltrain will have a train ready to depart 20 minutes after the conclusion of the game.
Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system, and each customer is required to have a valid ticket before boarding. The rail agency recommends that customers purchase a Day Pass on the way to the game so they don’t have to worry about post-game ticket lines.
Caltrain reminds customers that alcoholic beverages are prohibited on trains departing after the Sharks evening games.
