Caltrain to Provide Special Service for Sharks Playoffs
Score a goal by taking Caltrain to the Sharks playoff games at HP Pavilion. The Sharks’ will face off against the Anaheim Ducks in a best of seven series as they battle it out in the Western Conference Quarterfinals.
A number of trains arrive from San Francisco and the Peninsula in time for the first game at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16. The last weekday train departs the San Jose station at 10:30 p.m. or up to 15 minutes after the game ends, whichever is later. The train makes all regular local stops.
Caltrain provides hourly service to the San Jose Diridon station for the Sunday, April 19 game, which starts at 7 p.m. For the return victory trip, a special train making all regular weekend stops will depart 15 minutes after the game.
Caltrain reminds fans to drink responsibly and to remember that alcohol is not allowed on game-day trains beginning at 9 p.m.
Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system; tickets are not sold on board trains but can be purchased at vending machines at the stations or at the San Francisco or San Jose ticket offices. To save time on the return trip, fans are encouraged to buy a Day Pass.
