Caltrain Takes Fans to Giants Series Against the Rockies
Let Caltrain be your ride to AT&T Park when the San Francisco Giants play against one of their division rivals this week, the Colorado Rockies.
The Giants will face the Rockies June 3 – 5. AT&T Park is just one block from Caltrain’s San Francisco terminal at Fourth and King streets.
After evening and weekend games, two special trains depart San Francisco for the return trip. An express train to San Carlos leaves approximately 15 minutes after the last out, or when full, and then makes all locals stops after San Carlos to the San Jose Diridon station.
The second train departs San Francisco 25 minutes after the game, or when full, and serves all local stops to San Jose Diridon. On nights with post-game fireworks shows, the express and local trains depart approximately 15 and 25 minutes, respectively, after the fireworks or when full.
Caltrain reminds fans to drink responsibly and to remember that open alcoholic beverages are not allowed on game day trains beginning at 9 p.m.
Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system; tickets are not sold onboard trains but can be purchased at vending machines at the stations. To save time on the return trip, fans are encouraged to buy a Day Pass.
Caltrain baseball service brochures are available on trains or can be viewed HERE. For fare and schedule information, call 1.800.660.4287 (TTY 650.508.6448.)
