Caltrain Is the Inside Track to the Outside Lands
Enjoy the good vibrations and avoid parking and traffic hassles by taking Caltrain to the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival Aug. 14 - 15. Outside Lands is billed as the biggest concert in Northern California with more than 130,000 people attending the event last year.
Festival organizers will provide a special event shuttle from the 22nd Street Caltrain Station to Golden Gate Park. A single-day shuttle pass is $19.00; the cost per trip is $9.50.
Festival goers are cautioned that the last train leaves the 22nd Street station at 9:20 p.m. on Sunday. Alcohol is not allowed on trains after special events beginning at 9 p.m.
Caltrain is a Proof-of-Purchase system and requires passengers to purchase tickets before boarding. Tickets are not sold on-board trains but can be purchased at vending machines at the stations. Buy a Day Pass to save time on the return trip.
