Caltrain Is the Inside Track to the Outside Lands
Enjoy the good vibrations and avoid parking and traffic hassles by taking Caltrain to the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival Aug. 28 – 30. Billed as the biggest concert in Northern California, 130,000 people attended the festival over three days last year.
Festival organizers will provide a special event shuttle from the San Francisco Caltrain Station to Golden Gate Park. Shuttle tickets must be purchased in advance on the Festival’s Web site: www.sfoutsidelands.com.
Festival goers are cautioned that the last train leaves San Francisco on Sunday at 9:15 p.m.
Caltrain is a Proof-of-Purchase system and requires passengers to purchase tickets before boarding. Tickets are not sold on-board trains but can be purchased at vending machines at the stations. Buy a Day Pass to save time on the return trip.
Alcohol is not allowed on trains after special events beginning at 9 p.m.
For more information about Caltrain schedules and fares, call 1.800.660.4287 (TTY 650.508.6448).
