Catch Caltrain to KNBR Giant’s FanFest at Oracle Park on Saturday

San Francisco Giants fans will have their first chance to celebrate the team’s 61st season at Oracle Park this Saturday, February 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the annual KNBR Giants FanFest.

In addition to regular weekend service, Caltrain will operate one extra northbound train departing San Jose Diridon at 8 a.m. making all local stops to San Francisco. Please note that the San Francisco weekend bus bridge will be in effect. Visit the Caltrain booth at FanFest for 2019 service information.

Caltrain is a proof-of-payment system; tickets are not sold onboard trains. To save time on the return trip, fans are encouraged to buy a digital day pass using the Caltrain Mobile ticketing app or a paper ticket at a station vending machine. Clipper card users are reminded to tag on and tag off.

Caltrain reminds fans to drink responsibly and to remember that open containers of alcohol are not allowed on trains after 9 p.m.

About Caltrain: Owned and operated by the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board, Caltrain provides commuter rail service from San Francisco to San Jose, with limited commute service to Gilroy. While the Joint Powers Board assumed operating responsibilities for the service in 1992, the railroad celebrated 150 years of continuous passenger service in 2014. Planning for the next 150 years of Peninsula rail service, Caltrain is on pace to electrify the corridor, reduce diesel emissions by 97 percent by 2040 and add more service to more stations.
